In John’s gospel – though it does not feature the traditional Christmas narrative of Matthew or Luke’s gospel – proclaims the fact that God Himself stepped into space and time and took on flesh to rescue us from our sin. In the condescending of the incarnation, we see how low our Redeemer was brought to reconcile the lost to Himself.
